The demand for electricity and the need to replace fossil fuels by renewables have been growing steadily, this transition will significant implications our world that are only beginning be understood. Brazil is one important example of a big economy where already supplied renewables, such as hydro, wind biomass-fired thermal power. In work we investigated load curves in last 20 years Brazil, four different scenarios 2030 proposed order evaluate impact increasing national grid, at an hourly basis. analysis shows expected reduction hydropower share significantly increase reliability due higher peak also intermittency Solar Wind. Without any gigawatt scale projected near future, these should push operate hundreds hours every year above typical power levels experienced past. avoid or reduce threat related trend suggests solar water heaters could massively deployed what would positively system reducing mostly loads during early evenings.
